Clouds, strong winds, rainsand snowfalls will soon be a distant memory.
The entire disturbance will be swept away eastward in the next 24 hours, thanks to the push of the subtropical high pressureready to regain control of the weather in Europe. Already during Saturday, the skies will clear up across the peninsula, except for some residual clouds over the Gargano and the lower Tyrrhenian.
The sun will shine widely in the Norththanks to the arrival of drier and colder air, which will further lower the minimum temperaturesbringing them almost everywhere below freezing (32°F).
It will also be very cold in the Center and Southwith the definitive attenuation of the mild southwest winds.
Everything changes from Sunday
From Sunday, the weather conditions will change again.
The subtropical high pressure will push the cold air eastward, replacing it with milder air coming from the southwest, from northwestern Africa.
This will lead to a significant increase in temperatures across Italyespecially in areas where the sun will shine persistently, such as along the Adriatic side and in the mountains. For our mountains, and especially for the Alpsit will be a hard blow.
The snow coveraccumulated with the recent snowfalls, will not have the necessary time to consolidate.
The unusually high temperatures for the period will lead to the melting of much of the fallen snow, significantly reducing the seasonal snow reserves.
What differences in Italy!
With the return of the African anticyclonestrong weather differences will be created along the peninsula.
The climatic conditions will be milder and more pleasant on the Adriatic side, in the Center-Southand in the mountainswhere the skies will be clear.
On the contrary, in the Po Valley and along the Tyrrhenian regions, low clouds and fogs will be frequent, making the weather grayer and colder.
In the North, phenomena such as hoarfrost, frostsor even rime are not excluded, especially during the night hours. With a high probability, at least until November 29, significant disturbances will be absent not only in the Mediterranean but also in much of central-western Europe.
This will be the result of the imposing subtropical high pressure fieldwhich will ensure overall stable weather conditions and free of significant events.
