For the 20th anniversary of Euromillions, the FDJ promises at least 100 new millionaires
EUROMILLIONS – Time to try your luck? Euromillions is celebrating its 20th anniversary and the Française des Jeux Compte is marking the occasion. On the occasion of the anniversary of this European lottery, gaming operators will allow one hundred Europeans to become millionaires during a special draw this Friday, November 22.
For those who are familiar with the concept of MyMillion, the principle is the same, but instead of having just one winning code, there will be a hundred. Indeed, during this “exceptional print”, cEach person who plays will receive a unique code when validating their grid, announced the FDJ, cited by Le Figaro. One hundred of these codes will be drawn at random and will receive 1 million euros.
A draw which accompanies the main prize pool which is currently at 189 million euros. That is, if it were won in France, the third biggest gain that would be recorded in France.
A prize pool which cannot exceed 250 million euros
To win the Euromillions jackpot, you must have checked the five correct numbers on the grid, as well as the two stars. If it is not won, the prize pool increases with each drawing, which takes place on Tuesday and Friday.
However, it cannot exceed 250 million euros. A rule specific to Europe, while in the United States for example, certain prize pools have been able to exceed a billion dollars.
