In 2025, a year without the Euro or the World Cup, the French Football team will still be able to try to win a trophy: that of the Nations League, organized by UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), the the governing body of football in Europe.
Before thinking about a title, however, Les Bleus will have to overcome a first obstacle in March, that of the quarter-finals. On their way, they will find Croatia, according to the draw made Friday, November 22 in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Croats, the French coach, Didier Deschamps, and his players know them very well, since they have faced them on four occasions since 2020. The record is two victories, one defeat and one draw. “Croatia is one of the best European nations, it maintains itself at a high level throughout the final stages that it plays. When we are among the eight best European teams, we know that there are only good people to face”declared Didier Deschamps.
The quarter-finals will be played in two-legged matches between March 20 and 23, 2025. The semi-finals, in knockout matches, are scheduled for June 4 and 5. The small final as well as the grand final will take place on Sunday June 8.
