Gaspard has been stuck on a Flixbus coach since the evening of Thursday, November 21. Blame it on the weather situation in France. Around thirty departments are still on snow and ice alert. The result is chaos on the roads. Friday, November 22, the young man spoke on the phone, from the same bus, to the RTL microphone.
“We have no news, no one talks to us, really no one. We wait, we sleep as best we can, we are stuck until the prefecture decides that we can leave“, he laments.
He confides: “We haven't eaten, we haven't drunk since 7 p.m. There are toilets which are functional, fortunately. And there, there is a small trickle of water flowing. So we can go drink. But hey, I don’t even know if it’s drinking water.”
“I would like to get out of there. I would like the prefecture to do something. I would like Flixbus to do something. Because there, we are a little bit deprived of resources. We don't know what to do. So it would be good if things moved fairly quickly.“, he concluded, having been stuck in this bus for more than 12 hours.
