Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has criticised Jaguar’s new logo and rebranding campaign, which was unveiled recently. The British carmaker posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) with the tagline “Copy nothing,” showcasing colourful imagery and abstract concepts instead of its vehicles. The advertisement featured slogans like “create exuberant” and “delete ordinary,” along with people in vibrant costumes. This rebranding coincides with Jaguar’s shift towards electric vehicles. Musk’s mockery highlights the ongoing competition and contrasting approaches between Tesla and traditional automakers in the evolving electric vehicle market.
