Snow showers possible Thursday in the Louisville region

The first snow of the season looks likely on Thursday.INTERACTIVE RADAR| ACTIVE WEATHER ALERTSCold air will continue to deepen Thursday and as another disturbance moves into our region, more rain and even snow showers are expected in our area.Although a few sprinkles or flurries will be possible during the day on Thursday, no big issues are anticipated. A secondary and stronger batch of precipitation will move through Thursday evening. Areas of light snow are expected to work southeast across the WLKY viewing area later Thursday afternoon and continue into the evening.We expect it to hit the Louisville Metro area around 5 p.m., give or take, and fall for hours.
