The inter-union is calling on employees of the Carrefour de Givors to strike on Friday November 22 as the hypermarket affected by the floods will reopen its doors.
While the Carrefour hypermarket in Givors is due to reopen on Friday November 22 after the floods which hit the town, the inter-union is calling on employees for a day of strike. “Carrefour must realize that we are not their pawns at their disposal and that we deserve a minimum of consideration“, they write in a press release.
The unions are therefore asking the national managers of the brand “payment without making up for the days of October 17, 18 and 19, days during which we were unable to work or access the store following the floods“, as well as a bonus of €1,000 for employees who worked on the reopening of the hypermarket.
Carrefour management indicated to our colleagues at Progress that she would not givenot following the request for the allocation of an exceptional bonus and the cancellation of the catch-up of hours not worked“.
