Lotto jackpot in the Konstanz district: lucky person wins millions

11, 14, 15, 19, 39, 40: These are the numbers that a lottery player from the Konstanz district can now call his favorite numbers. Because in a drawing on Saturday, November 16th, these winning numbers were drawn for Lotto 6aus49 – and the bettor had ticked exactly these numbers beforehand. As stated in a press release from Lotto Baden-Württemberg, the only thing the man needed to win the ultimate jackpot was the correct super number 4.

Given the high winnings of over one million euros, the joy should still be enormous. “The ‘six’ is worth exactly 1,122,957.30 euros, completely tax-free,” says the press release. “Nationwide there was another direct hit in prize class 2. The probability of winning class 2 with Lotto 6aus49 is around 1 in 15.5 million.”

Who is the winner?

Lotto Baden-Württemberg already knows who the lucky person is, as the bettor used his customer card when handing in the ticket at a collection point “in the middle of the district”. This means that the winnings will be automatically transferred to him in the next few days. Lotto does not reveal any further information about the winner.

Finally got six correct numbers in the lottery! But a downer remains

However, the really big jackpot was not won. In the next draw on Wednesday, November 20th, there will be around six million euros in prize category 1. According to the lottery, the theoretical chance of winning the impressive sum is 1 in around 140 million.

On Friday, a man from the Esslingen district was even luckier than the newly crowned millionaire from the Konstanz district: He guessed five correct numbers and the correct euro number in a Eurojackpot drawing. He can now look forward to winnings of over four million euros. However, he also missed the jackpot, which is now still at the incredible maximum sum of 120 million euros.
