Dutch producer NewBe just announced six half-hour episodes. Perhaps the new one will come Goofy on a streaming service. The news is still early, and for now there are many question marks. Goofy was about a family that had been living on a toxic dump for years, but thanks to social services, was able to move to an empty villa in a chic residential area. That’s where they turned things upside down.

NewBe is working on a spin-off with the tentative title Kees Flodder. Both the son and daughter in the Flodder family were called Kees. The male Kees was played by Stefaan De Walle, the female Kees by Tatjana Šimić. It is not yet clear which Kees will get a spin-off. And assuming it concerns the female Kees, it is not yet known whether Šimić will fill that role.
Initially it was Goofy a one-off film in 1986. With 2.3 million visitors in the Netherlands and great success in Flemish cinemas, Goofy however, it became one of the greatest Dutch film hits of all time. There were sequels and a TV series that ran for five seasons.
One scene became iconic: neighbor Neuteboom (Bert André, by papa van actress Sandrine André, red.) who assaults Kees Flodder (Tatjana Šimić). The actress was only 22 at the time. With her open-mindedness, blonde locks and proud facade, she stole the show in the film.
Ended in 1997 Goofy abruptly when protagonist Coen van Vrijberghe De Coningh, Johnny in the series, suffered an acute cardiac arrest at a company party. This was just a few days after filming was completed. A total of 62 episodes were made, spread over five seasons.(tove)
