The Turpin children most recently marked a new chapter for one of their siblings.
Jennifer Turpin is the eldest of the 13 Turpin siblings who became widely known in 2018 after they were discovered to be living in horrific conditions in their Perris, California, home and suffering abuses from their parents. Police were called by 17-year-old Jordan Turpin at the time after she snuck out of the home with an old cell phone and called 911 pleading for help. Soon after, authorities called the home the “House of Horrors.”
Now, nearly seven years later, Jennifer Turpin is married, and she shared posts on Instagram that highlighted her backyard wedding ceremony and all of its black-and-white details.
The couple married on Oct. 27 in Rancho Cucamonga, California, according to the Instagram posts, and Jennifer Turpin displayed some of the tender moments she shared with family, guests and her groom, whose first name is Aaron.
Jennifer Turpin can be seen wearing a white wedding dress with a black lace overlay for the ceremony, as well as a flower crown made up of black-and-white roses. For makeup, Jennifer Turpin wore black lipstick, dark smokey eyeshadow and ombre nail polish.
Other touches included black combat boots, custom wedding glassware and place settings, and napkins that read “Till Death Do Us Part,” as well as black, dark red and pink roses.
Words of support and love filled the comments section of the post.
“Ohmygosh Jennifer I am so happy for you both!” one user replied. “I thank you so much for allowing me to watch your journey from far away. I am so happy to see the growth and change with you and your family over the years. So many congratulations!!”
“I have followed your story since day one i am so happy you’re getting your happily ever after,” another replied.
“I wonder if they got to invite all the siblings and if they even see each other,” one asked. In response, Jennifer Turpin confirmed that all had been in attendance.
“We did. I just can’t post most out of respect/privacy,” she replied.
A touching moment from a separate post lets everyone see Jennifer Turpin’s walk down the aisle, which she did on her own.
The same post also showcased the couple’s white cake, adorned with black ribbon and deep red flowers, and gave a glimpse at her bridesmaids, one of whom was her sister Jordan Turpin. Jennifer Turpin confirmed in the comments that she would keep her last name.
Jennifer Turpin also confirmed on Instagram that she and her husband headed off to Oahu, Hawaii, for their honeymoon.
“10/31/2024 Honeymoon and Halloween in Hawaii on Oahu,” she captioned the post.
David Turpin and Louise Turpin are now serving life in prison sentences after pleading guilty to 14 counts of torture, child endangerment, false imprisonment and dependent adult abuse.
