The Netherlands shared the stake this Tuesday evening in Bosnia-Herzegovina (1-1). Not a very good result for the Oranje, but coach Ronald Koeman is not worried. He has also been critical of analysts decrying him.
The Netherlands failed to win in Bosnia-Herzegovina this Tuesday evening. Our northern neighbors shared the stake (1-1), despite an opening score which should have allowed them to win.
The Dutch goal was scored at the start of the match (24th), partly thanks to Noa Lang. The former Club Brugge player served Brobbey who scored his first goal for the selection. Then, the Dutch narrowly missed the 0-2, several times.
The break goal finally fell, but it was later canceled. And in the second half, the locals ended up equalizing, which angered Dutch observers and analysts.
Ronald Koeman does not appreciate criticism from Dutch analysts
Notamment with Rafael van der Vaart and Pierre van Hooijdonk, in the TV studio NOS. The coach, Ronald Koeman, thought that this conceded goal was not dramatic, since the Netherlands are already qualified for the quarter-finals.
But when he heard the analysts’ negativity, he decided to take action. “I see more and more former football players talking about the national team on television. But if I listen to them, they have never had a bad match in their career. Who am I referring to? Not only the two in the studio, there are more and more of them, eh”. Ronald Koeman still has little appreciation for criticism.
