The National Football Team played away against Montenegro in the sixth and last match of the UEFA Nations B League 4th Group. Losing 3-1 in the match played at Niksic City Stadium, A Nationals finished their group in 2nd place and were entitled to play the play-off match to be promoted to A League.
NATIONAL TEAM WILL PLAY A PLAY OFF MATCH FOR THE INTERNATIONAL A LEAGUE
Wales finished the UEFA Nations B League Group 4 as leaders with 12 points and were directly promoted to League A. Türkiye, which remains at 11 points, will play a promotion match to the A League with one of the teams that finished 3rd in the A League.

It was announced that the group draws for the 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifications will be drawn on Friday, December 13. The draw will start at 14.00 GMT at the FIFA Center in Zurich, Switzerland.
2026 World Cup Qualifications are already underway in five of the golden confederations. In Europe, the qualifiers will start in March 2025 and end in November 2025.
IT WILL BE PLAYED WITH 48 TEAMS FOR THE FIRST TIME
For the first time, 48 teams will take part in the World Cup, which has been played with 32 teams for many years. For this reason, the number of teams participating in the tournament from Europe was increased from 13 to 16.
12 GROUP LEADERS WILL PARTICIPATE DIRECTLY
The winners of 12 groups consisting of four or five teams will have the right to directly participate in the tournament. The remaining four teams will be determined by a 16-team play-off in which the 12 group runners-up and the 4 best UEFA Nations League group winners (who did not qualify directly for the World Cup as group leaders or did not qualify for the play-offs as group runners-up) will participate.
