Carried away by illness. American actor Paul Teal died this Friday at the age of 35 after succumbing to cancer, his agent Susan Tolar Walters confirmed this Monday, November 18 to CNN.
The man was mainly known for having played the character of Josh in the seventh season of the series “The Scott Brothers”, broadcast in 2010. The program was a great success in the United States, but also in France where it had been broadcast between 2004 and 2012, mainly on TF1.
“His remarkable talent, coupled with his kindness, left an indelible mark on all of us who were lucky enough to know him. The pain we feel in our hearts is immeasurable,” responded Susan Tolar Walters in a press release sent to the American media.
Emilia Torello, Paul Teal's fiancée, also shared the news through a message on Instagram this Sunday. “You were carried away too soon, in a battle that you fought courageously without failing. Although a part of me died with you, I promise to fight to find the joy of living as hard as you fought to live every day,” she wrote in the caption of a photo where we see her kiss your spouse.
In “The Scott Brothers”, the actor who was barely 20 years old at the time played with Bethany Joy Lenz, who also wanted to send him a few words on Instagram. “My heart is heavy. (…) His bright smile, his contagious laughter and his kind heart made you want to be close to him,” she remembers, noting that they had also shared the stage for the musical comedy inspired by the novel and the film “ The Notebook” in 2006.
Paul Teal had also appeared in several popular series such as “Good Behavior”, “The Walking Dead: World Beyond”, “Outer Banks” and the TV movie “Boarding for Christmas”. In theaters, we could see him in “Descendants: the Rise of Red” or “Lilly” released this year.
He should finally be starring in “The Hunting Wives”, a drama series expected in 2025 on the Starz platform in the United States.
