For this 6th and final day of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations, groups A and B played their last match this Monday evening. In a group A with no real stakes, Tunisia was surprised by Gambia after a quick goal from Ceesay (1-0, 17th), which changes nothing in the standings since the Tunisians were assured of being second, behind the Gambia and Madagascar, eliminated. The Comoros secured first place in the group by beating Madagascar by the smallest of margins (1-0) and finished undefeated.

In group B, Morocco had a festival against Lesotho and finished first, with six victories in six matches. In the first half, Brahim Díaz scored a hat-trick in 42 minutes, accompanied by a goal from Rahimi, off a pass from Ben Seghir. Just before the break, Rahimi scored twice from the penalty spot (5-0, 45th+2). And in the second period, En-Nesyri and Saibari ensured the big victory 7-0. Victorious in the Central African Republic, Gabon finished second behind Morocco.
