Just a few weeks after the broadcast of the last episode of season 4 of “HPI”, TF1 has just announced good news for season 5 of the detective series hosted by Audrey Fleurot and Mehdi Nebbou.
Last Thursday, October 3, TF1 broadcast the last episode of season 4 of HPI. A new part which was rich in twists and turns for Morgane (Audrey Fleurot) and Karadec (Mehdi Nebbou) since in the last minutes, we discovered with surprise that Adam was in reality the real father of the baby of the red tornado.
Another twist of fate: upon leaving the hospital, Morgane learned that she had lost her house. Without a home, she decided to move in with Karadec with her four children.
Filming for season 5 finally begins
Even before the broadcast of season 4 of HPI, TF1 had already announced that the detective series would be back for an additional season, which should, as usual, arrive next May.
And the channel has just announced via a press release that filming of the first two episodes of season 5, which are directed by Vincent Jamain, began this Monday, November 18 in the Hauts-de-France region.
For the occasion, Audrey Fleurot, Mehdi Nebbou, Bruno Sanches, Marie Denarnaud, Bérangère McNeese, Cypriane Gardin and Noé Vandevoorde will reprise their roles. Alice Chegaray-Breugnot and Julien Anscutter will still be at the helm of this new season which will see Morgane face new challenges.
Morgane and Karadec as roommates
Morgane's efforts to improve her karma have finally paid off. As she had hoped, Karadec is indeed the father of her baby, and he has graciously agreed to take her in. Once is not customary, the universe seems to have good things in store for our heroine as this new season begins…
But now that Morgana has gotten what she wanted, the question arises: can she make things last? Because if Morgane is good for chaos, insecurity and adversity… She is much less good for happiness and simplicity. And precisely… Morgane and Karadec have barely begun to find a balance in their new life as parents when it finds itself threatened by an irresistible attraction between them!
But trying a love story when you are already co-parents, colleagues and roommates… is it a genius idea? Or a great way to screw things up? We will have to wait for the broadcast of season 5 of HPI to find out.
This is not the only problem Morgane will have to face. Last September, Alice Chegaray-Breugnot and Julien Anscutter had in fact confided to AlloCiné that the consultant's place within the DIPJ was going to be called into question.
“In the next season, we also wanted to explore Morgane's place in the police. Does it still make sense that Morgane works in the police?”, explained Julien Anscutter. “This has been an issue for her from the start. He is someone who is very anti-cop, and generally speaking, is not made to work in a setting. There will therefore also be a professional challenge for Morgane.”
See you in 2025 on TF1 to discover season 5 of HPI. For the more nostalgic, previous episodes are available on the TF1+ platform.
