Cast off! This Sunday, November 10, 2024, the start of the Vendée Globe 2024 was launched. And the number of participants only grew by the hour. Nearly 450,000 people have already registered. A number that will inevitably increase as the race progresses. And already, different strategies are being organized.
A little stronger wind on Monday
Some players, despite the routers' forecasts, decide to take an option further north, while others stay a little further in the Bay of Biscay, for an option south. This is what most routers advised. It remains to be seen which will be the most profitable.
The competition promises to be tough. The rankings are not yet fixed, so don't worry if you are at the back of the pack. There will always be time to catch up to the head of the race.

Monday November 11, 2024, early in the morning, the wind should turn to the North-East with around 12 knots forecast. Weather conditions which should strengthen as we approach Cape Finisterre.
So don't forget to follow the wind and rotate your routers (if you use them). Also note that the wind updates in the game are carried out every 6 hours and that they are fixed after 1 hour 30 minutes. On that note, good luck!
