Today: As a strong low-pressure system approaches, clouds are already taking over early this morning and are creating a noticeable difference in temperatures. With the clouds, we are in the 40s; without them, in the 30s. However, skies will be cloudy today with rain filling in from south to north from about 7 AM to noon. Once the rain starts at your location, steady light to moderate showers are expected through the evening. Temperatures continue to steadily climb today and tonight, to around the mid 50s to low 60s around midnight. Winds are strong from the east-southeast at 10 to 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph.
Tonight: Rain and some thunderstorms continue this evening through much of tonight and the rain could be heavy at times with otherwise cloudy skies. Temperatures fall to around the upper 40s and low 50s by sunrise. Winds are strongest in the evening and overnight hours as they shift to the south at 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 40 mph. 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected through tonight.
Tuesday: The rain should be moving out by sunrise with cloudy skies sticking around for the morning, but they may break apart a little in the afternoon to give us partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be falling or holding steady through the day after highs near 60 around midnight. Winds shift to the west at 10 to 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph.
Wednesandy: Clouds take back over and there could be a few flurries throughout the day into Wednesday night, but with no accumulation. Winds pick back up from the west, gusting to 35 mph, keeping highs in the low to mid 40s. Lows drop to the upper 20s Wednesday night.
Rest of the Week: Thursday is mostly cloudy, windy, and cold with highs in the upper 30s and winds from the northwest gusting to 30 mph. Lows fall to the mid and upper 20s Thursday night. Skies become partly cloudy Friday with highs in the low 40s and a lighter northwest breeze.
