The results of the early legislative elections of November 17, 2024 have just been revealed by statistician Mamadou Yauck, confirming the clear domination of the PASTEF party. According to the latest calculations, the political party led by Ousmane Sonko wins 131 seatsthus consolidating an absolute majority in the National Assembly.
The other political entities share the remaining seats in a very fragmented configuration. Takku Wallu comes in second place with 16 deputiesfollowed by Peace and Prosperity who picks up 7 seats.

- Nationalists : 1 seat
- Senegal Kessé : 1 seat
- Sopi Senegal : 1 seat
This election, marked by significant participation and an organization praised by the Autonomous National Electoral Commission (CENA), redraws the political balance of the country. PASTEF’s overwhelming victory gives it unprecedented power to implement its legislative program, while the diversity of small parties reflects a political landscape in reorganization.
