A northwesterly current is bringing showers today, sometimes accompanied by hail. As a result, it can become slippery on the road for a while. This afternoon it will be drier, tomorrow there will be a lot of rain and locally wet snow.
This morning there will be showers across the country, which may be accompanied by hail here and there. A strip across the south of the country is least affected by these showers. It will remain dry in most places there, although some rain may fall locally along the southern border.
Also a chance of sun
Where there are showers, there is also a chance of some sun in between. The south suffers from a lot of cloud cover, where the sun is seen less often. At the start of the day the temperature is between 3 degrees in the (north) east to 8 degrees along the coast. Inland there is a weak westerly wind, at sea sometimes a fairly strong northwest wind.
There will be some showers locally this afternoon, but it will be dry in many places. The westerly wind is relatively calm and blows weak to moderate at most and only quite strong in the Wadden area. The afternoon temperature is around 8 degrees.

Dry weather will prevail tonight with a few showers locally. The weather is calm with little wind and the temperature in the northeast of the country drops to about 2 degrees at the end of the evening. In the southwest it is a lot milder at 8 degrees and it starts to rain at the end of the evening. This rain will move over the entire country during the night with an increasing easterly wind.
The temperature distribution remains unchanged with around 2 degrees in the northeast of the country to 6 or 7 degrees in Zeeland.
Showers with a winter character
Tomorrow our country will be on the border with colder air in the north and milder air in the south. This will give us a wet day with quite a bit of rain and possibly wet snow locally in the colder areas. It is not soaking wet all day, sometimes there are drier periods.
The temperature forecast for tomorrow is uncertain and will be around 2 or 3 degrees in the north, 3 to 5 degrees in the center and locally 9 or 10 degrees in the south of the country. The wind is easterly and weak to moderate in strength. In the evening there may be a lot of wind along the coast with a chance of heavy gusts.
On Wednesday morning there may be a lot of wind blowing from the northwest along the coast. There will also be numerous showers this week, sometimes with a wintry character.
