The General Authority of Meteorology revealed the weather conditions today, Monday, and the expected temperatures.

Meteorology confirmed that today's weather will be cold at night and early in the morning, and moderate during the day in the north of the country until northern Upper Egypt, and hot in southern Upper Egypt.

Meteorology explained that the country is expected to be affected today by water mist in the morning on some agricultural and highway roads close to bodies of water leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.

Rain falling

The Meteorological Authority also expected light rain to fall on separate areas of southern Lower Egypt and the canal cities, and light to moderate rain on separate areas of the northwestern coasts, northern Lower Egypt, and the eastern coasts.

The authority stressed that there is wind activity in most parts at intermittent intervals.

New depression

Meteorology warned of a new depression that will hit the country and affect the upper layers of the atmosphere, for a period of 72 hours, starting from Sunday and continuing until next Tuesday, which will affect the weather condition in Egypt.

The depression results in moderate rains hitting the coastal governorates, including Matrouh, Alexandria, Beheira, Kafr El-Sheikh, and Dakahlia.

Monday temperatures

Regarding the expected temperatures today, Monday, they were as follows:

Greater Cairo is 24 degrees, and the lowest is 16.

Alexandria Greater 23, and Lesser 15.

Matrouh high 22 degrees, low 13.

Sohag, the high is 27 degrees, and the low is 13.

Qena high 27 degrees, low 14.

Aswan high 28 degrees, low 16.
