From the start of the match, the Moroccans took control of the game. Brahim Diaz opened the scoring in the 6th minute, setting the tone of the match. Lesotho, already eliminated, failed to stem the repeated attacks from Soufiane Rahimi's teammates. Diaz doubled the lead in the 15th minute, bringing his total to six goals for the national team.
Despite some attempts, Lesotho proved powerless against Moroccan domination. Rahimi added to the score in the 37th minute, followed by Diaz who scored a hat-trick in the 43rd. Just before halftime, Rahimi scored twice from the penalty spot, making it 5-0.

In the second half, the Atlas Lions continued their momentum. Youssef En-Nesyri scored with a header in the 68th minute, imitated two minutes later by Ismaïl Saibari. The final score of 7-0 reflects the clear superiority of the Moroccans.
With this victory, Morocco finishes at the top of Group B with a perfect run of 18 points. Gabon, second with 10 points, will accompany Morocco to the final phase of CAN 2025 which will take place in Morocco. Lesotho finished third with 4 points, ahead of the Central African Republic (3 points).
