At midday this Sunday, November 17, 2024, the early legislative elections are taking place satisfactorily throughout the national territory and abroad, according to the CENA. The commission shares that from the opening of the polling stations at 8:00 a.m. until around 12:00 p.m., “citizens have exercised or continue to exercise their right to vote in calm, peace and discipline.”
For the moment, the CENA, which has a controller in each of the 15,633 polling stations spread throughout the national territory as well as in the 807 polling stations established abroad, reveals that it has not noticed any major malfunction. .
The poll supervision platform implemented by the CENA IT service and based on a sample of 553 witness polling stations makes it possible to establish the following findings:
– Offices open on time: 93.2%
– Complete electoral material: 99.1%
– Normal voting process: 98.76%
– Presence of security: 95.66%.
