The highly anticipated fight between Mike Tyson and former YouTube star Jake Paul featured a cameo from Tyson’s almost bare butt — plus a bit of glove biting from the boxing legend.

Before the former world heavyweight champion, 58, was set to enter the ring on Friday, Nov. 15, he appeared in Netflix’s live coverage for a pre-fight interview and, as he walked away, viewers saw his nearly bare butt — though he appeared to be wearing some kind of undergarment — in footage of the fight.

The seemingly accidental cameo from Tyson’s backside appeared to catch viewers off guard — and inspired some playful responses online.

Using a snap of the revealing moment to show his support for Tyson — who ultimately lost to Paul, 27, by unanimous decision — on Instagram, Marlon Wayans wrote, “A–ed out. I’m rooting for Mike. He has zero F’s… but he 58.”

Meanwhile, on X (formerly Twitter), users reposted the interview clip and wrote things like, “Did Mike Tyson just …. Never mind,” and, “Ummm Netflix, there are kids watching!!!! ????????????.”

The streamer itself even got in the action, posting the full interview and joking that Tyson’s “pre-fight interview got real cheeky.”

During the long-awaited fight, Tyson left viewers with questions after he was spotted biting his glove several times throughout the match. But it wasn’t the first time the boxing legend exhibited this habit — which some speculated was a maneuver to fix his mouthpiece.

When asked about his biting in a post-fight interview, Tyson revealed he has “a habit of biting my glove when I fight.”

And, when asked why he does this, he simply responded, “I have a biting fixation.”

The long-awaited fight between Paul and Tyson was originally supposed to occur in July, but due to Tyson’s ulcer flare-up incident in May, it had to be delayed.

Following the incident, Tyson’s representative told PEOPLE, “Thankfully, Mr. Tyson is doing great” after “he became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing.”

Both athletes talked big game heading into the match, which ended with Paul beating the former world heavyweight champion in a unanimous decision after eight rounds on the night of Nov. 15.

Earlier in the week, Tyson told reporters, including ESPN, that he was “bringing the devil himself [to the ring],”

“There are no feelings attached,” Tyson, who called Paul a “friend,” said on Nov. 12. “My own mother should be very careful if she has to get in the ring with me. When it’s over, it’s over. But while the process is going on, my intention is to hurt him. I hope he has the same intentions, or he is in trouble.”

Tensions between both men heightened after Tyson slapped Paul at the weigh-in on Nov. 14.

Footage from the weigh-in showed Paul approaching Tyson and stepping on his foot. In retaliation, Tyson slapped the YouTube star across the face and pointed toward their feet before a security got in between them.

“Jake stepped on Mike’s foot, that prompted the reaction,” Tom Patti, a longtime friend of Tyson’s, told USA TODAY Sports. “I was there and Mike just told me.”

“This is a pinch me moment,” Paul later posted on X. “I got slapped by Mike Tyson ????.”

After his win on Nov. 15, the YouTuber shared a number of posts on X celebrating the victory.

“Grateful to God, my family and my friends. We did it,” he wrote in one, while in another, he said, “Thank you to every fighter on the card last night, thank u Netflix, thank u Jerry Jones, thank u to my MVP team, thank u to the legend Mike Tyson for giving me a chance to share the ring with him, thank u to my family and close circle of friends..and above all, thank you God.”
