Mike Tyson (58) hasn’t had enough after losing to Jake Paul

The dust hasn’t really settled after the exhibition fight between boxing legend Mike Tyson (58) and YouTube star Jake Paul (27), and the next big fight may already be on the horizon. The former champion indicated in the ring while talking to martial arts reporter Ariel Helwani shortly after the fight that his boxing career might not be over yet.

When asked whether the lost duel against Jake Paul was his last, Tyson replied meaningfully: “I don’t know. It depends on the situation.” When the journalist asked whether this was really his last appearance in a ring, “Iron Mike” became even clearer: “I don’t think so.”

Things became particularly explosive when Tyson brought up a possible next opponent: “Maybe I’ll fight his brother.” Logan Paul (29), who was standing next to his victorious brother Jake, did not leave this statement uncommented: “Motherf*****, I’m going to kill you, Mike,” the YouTube star and martial artist shot back in the direction of the ex-champion .

A clash between Tyson and Logan Paul would be quite lucrative. The fight against Jake Paul is said to have brought in around $40 million each for both opponents. With the older Paul brother, who has already made a name for himself in wrestling and show fights, a similarly big spectacle could arise.

While the vast majority of boxing fans and experts view such show fights critically because of the extremely questionable sporting added value, viewer numbers and media interest have shown for many years that such formats definitely have their justification.

Netflix had secured the broadcast rights for the fight against Jake Paul and could also be interested again in a possible duel with Logan Paul. Maybe the streaming service will learn something new about live broadcasts by then. When the fight was broadcast on Friday, many viewers were unable to see parts of the fight due to technical problems.
