On the night of November 16, a big boxing evening took place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington (USA). The main event of the tournament was the battle of 58-year-old former absolute world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs) against 27-year-old Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs).
The fight ended with a unanimous decision in favor of Paul (80:72, 79:73, 79:73).
From the first seconds, Mike took the initiative, but by the end of the first round, thanks to jabs, Paul did not allow Tyson to run wild.
The third round started with some good attack from Mike, but the power and speed weren't enough to really give Jake problems. Paul began to respond with blows. Iron Mike's strength began to gradually leave him.
The fighters spent the fourth round statically, alternately throwing punches without much success. Even the fans in the stadium began to whistle due to the inertia of the athletes.
In the middle of the 5th round, Paul pressed Tyson to the edge of the ring and was able to punch through the block. Tyson survived and quickly regrouped. The legendary boxer showed less activity with each round.
After the sixth round, Paul had twice as many punches thrown (200-87) and almost 4 times as many hits (59-16).
The young YouTuber successfully kept his distance with his jab. After the 7th round, he made 155 jabs (28 accurately), and Mike had 58 attempts, of which only 5 were accurate. The 8th round followed a similar scenario, so it is not surprising that the judges gave the victory to the younger boxer.
