The long-awaited duel, broadcast on the Netflix platform, only showed two boxers exchanging a few jabs during eight rounds.

According to the decision of one of the judges, Jake Paul won all eight rounds, while the other two awarded “Iron Mike” one round each.
Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs) had a good start to the fight, but was shaken by three consecutive left hooks from Paul early in the third round. This sequence seems to have shaken him, who subsequently lacked energy.

For his part, Paul began his boxing career in 2020 with six consecutive victories fighting mainly against former MMA fighters. Paul’s only loss came against Tommy Fury in February 2023, but he has now won four fights in a row since.
Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion at the age of 20 in 1986, and a year later he unified the three major belts to become the undisputed champion. He defended all three belts six times until his historic defeat by James “Buster” Douglas by knockout. in the 10th round in February 1990.
However, he had not entered the ring in a sanctioned fight since his defeat against Kevin McBride in June 2005.
The fight was sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. It took place over eight two-minute rounds and both fighters wore 14-ounce gloves instead of the 10-ounce gloves customary for heavyweight fights.
