Elias of Imzalène “more respectable” than Bruno Retailleau? This is what Eric Coquerel, member of La France insoumise (LFI) and chairman of the Finance Committee at the National Assembly, assures. The activist is particularly known to the courts for having called, during a demonstration, to “lead the intifada in Paris”, last September 8 in the capital. His comments led to him being placed in police custody and then being tried last month for public incitement to hatred. The court has not yet rendered its judgment.
