The ceremony was held this Friday, November 1 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. A 26th edition which saw the coronation of Pierre Garnier as French-speaking revelation of the year.
Vitaa and Slimane win the two most coveted prizes at the NRJ Music Awards. The singer received the trophies for French-speaking female artist and male artist of the year this Friday evening during this 26th edition presented by Nikos Aliagas live from the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
Pierre Garnier received the prizes for French-speaking revelation and French-speaking song of the year for The ones we were. Indochina won the French-speaking group or duo of the year award.
Taylor Swift and The Weeknd receive international awards
On the international side, the prize for female artist went to Taylor Swift and that for male artist to The Weeknd. Benson Boone received the international revelation prize. The American even achieved a double with his title Beautiful Things, named international song of the year. The Justice duo finally received an Honorary Award for their 20-year career.
