But to do all that, you have to be physically able to do it”admitted the skipper, who was in 38th place. “I'll let you imagine the physical and mental suffering, it's four years of preparation to get there. It was magical from start to finish. If we knew the adventure in advance, we would never go back. I had imagined another Vendée Globe. I gave the best I could. It was way too short but I have to face reality. »
