The Belgian national team, coached by Domenico Tedesco, suffered another defeat against Italy.
The German coach Domenico Tedesco suffered the next bitter setback with the Belgian national team. In the Nations League, the Belgians lost 0-1 (0-1) against Italy and remained without a win in the fourth game in a row. With just four points from five games, Belgium can no longer reach the quarter-finals and the pressure on Tedesco continues to increase.

Sandro Tonali (11th) scored for the Italians, who, unlike their opponents, qualified early for the knockout rounds.
Belgium is fighting against relegation
While the four-time world champions are aiming for group victory in a direct duel against France on Sunday, the Tedesco team can even be relegated directly to the B league with a heavy defeat in Budapest against bottom team Israel (both at 8:45 p.m.).
The guests started dominantly in Brussels – and were rewarded early on with Tonali (Newcastle United’s) goal. As the first half progressed, the hosts found their way into the game better, but compelling chances remained in short supply. In the second half, the Belgians increased the pressure further and it was now a completely open encounter.
