Historic success for Wembanyama!

Confirming his current form, Victor Wembanyama delivered an incredible offensive performance against the Wizards by scoring 50 points.

After a somewhat irregular start to the season, Victor Wembanyama is now performing XXL performances. And Thursday, against the Wizards, the French interior even panicked the counters like never before. After his 24 points-16 rebounds against Jazz then his 34 points-14 rebounds against Sacramento, the former Parisian has indeed entered a new dimension by crossing the 50 point mark.

With incredible shooting success, with 18 of 29 shots and notably 8 of 16 from three points, Wemby finished with 50 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks in 33 minutes. Enough to allow him to become the youngest interior to reach this symbolic mark and only the second French player after Tony Parker, author of 55 points on November 5, 2008 in Minneapolis with San Antonio (victory for the Spurs against Minnesota after two overtimes, 129- 125).

And that was necessary to overcome the Wizards (139-130). Consequence in particular of the 42 points at 15 out of 22 on shots from Jordan Poole. For his big reunion with his former teammate in , Bilal Coulibaly was on the other hand much less successful, having to be content with 6 points at 2 out of 5 and 8 rebounds while Alexandre Sarr showed himself with 12 points at 6 out of 14 in the shots.
