This process.

Juan Soto’s historic free Agency is really starting to make some moves in certain directions.

This week as him and Mr Scott Boris and his scoreboard will be meeting in Southern California this week with according to reports, four teams to our knowledge.

We talked last week about how many teams are reportedly in.

I think, you know, John Haman floated 11 as a number.

He named seven of them.

We were skeptical about some of those like the rays and and so on.

But we have pretty credible reports that there are four teams meeting with Juan Soto.

This week.

Those teams to our knowledge are the Mets, the Yankees, the Blue Jays and the Red Sox.

Let’s hit on Toronto and Boston here quickly because again, we talking about the Mets and Yankees all winter.

Um which of these are you more compelled by the Red Sox compel me more.

I think the Blue Jays are less likely the Red Sox have the money like the money is there.

Fenway Sports Group has the cash available to sign Juan Soto and it is just a question of desire because the Red Sox Operation just prints money at this point, whether or not they put a competitive product on the field because of the history and the stadium and yada, yada yada, like, that’s good for them.

I’m happy that these people are making money.

But at the end of the day, like the fans want to win a championship, right?

And Juan Soda can help them do that.

So I’m fascinated to see how real this interest is because I could see a scenario where the number gets to where the number is going to get to, to 45 a year.

And Craig Breslow and who’s the PO B for the Red Sox and John Henry, who’s like in charge, see that price tag and they say thank you.

But no, thank you.

And they just bounce and then they do the press conference in spring training where they say we made a run at SOTO and the price was too high and we decided to reallocate those resources elsewhere in the organization, which is why Liverpool has a new center back.

But like I, that’s what I’m expecting.

And so while I think it’s interesting that they’re meeting with him, nothing that the Boston Red Sox have done over the last five years makes me remotely believe that they’re actually going to end up with Juan Soto.
