While France pays tribute to the victims of terrorist attacks nine years later, Nathalie Perez, for her book “A year at the heart of anti-terrorism” published by Éditions du Rocher, is the guest of 18/20.
Memories of the November 13 attacks are still vivid. Ceremonies are taking place this Wednesday, November 13 in Paris at the scene of the Islamist terrorist attacks during which 130 people died. To discuss the subject, Nathalie Perez wanted to pay tribute to the people who work in anti-terrorism. “They are always hooded and work in secret. I wanted to pay tribute to them. They are heroes who save lives every day and take incredible risks in investigations. They risk their lives. They do not have the right to speak of their investigations or their lives This book is made to tell who they are.explains Nathalie Perez, author of the book “A year at the heart of antiterrorism” published by Éditions du Rocher.
“These are men and women who have an ordinary life. Except that in their work, there are terrible constraints in their family life. For example, we teach children not to say that their parents work in anti-terrorism”adds the journalist.
