TONIGHT: Blustery, Cooler. Lo 45. Winds W 10-15 mph.
TUESDAY: Sunny, Breezy. Hi 52. Lo 30.
WEDNESDAY: Sunny, Cool. Hi 52. Lo 34.
Monday stood as a relatively mild one thanks to compressional warming ahead of our cold front. Highs in many places got into the upper 60s while Fawn Grove near the Maryland border reached 70! Another weak wave will move through tonight bringing a few clouds and a shot of cooler air for tomorrow. Lows tonight will be in the mid-40s and it will stay breezy. After a few lingering clouds early, tomorrow also will be mostly sunny and gusty with cooler temperatures. Highs will be in the lower 50s and with a stiff northerly wind, it will feel colder. Get those jackets ready this week!
By Wednesday morning, a hard freeze looks likely as temperatures will likely dip into the 20s for many locations in the region. Wednesday will be sunny and pleasant but will remain cool with highs in the lower 50s. Thursday will feature plenty of clouds and chilly temperatures as a cold air damming scenario plays out. With an east flow, temperatures will be stuck in the 40s for our region as a shower or two could affect us Thursday night. This isn’t shaping up to be a great chance for rain, however, so don’t expect much if any. Friday and the weekend look more pleasant and temperatures warm back up a bit with highs near 60° by Saturday and Sunday.
