Anaïs and Milan share a kiss
At the Atelier, Anaïs goes to see Jude who is working on a new creation for the restaurant-laboratory. She envies him for being so inspired. For her part, she thought all night and only came up with one idea for an entry. Jude advises him to brainstorm with his team to find inspiration. But Anaïs emphasizes that her disagreement with Milan complicates things.
When she arrives in the kitchen, Anaïs takes stock of the previous day's service with her team. She recognizes that she needs to be a better listener to improve communication. She then announces a change of entry on the menu: a rosette of truffles. If Vic and Léonard fear that they will not be able to learn a new recipe at the last minute, Anaïs believes that they are entirely capable and gives them a demonstration.
However, during the service, Leonard returns from the Commissary empty-handed: there are no more truffles. At the same time, Billie announces that Teyssier has just moved into the dining room and that he is already aware of the new menu item. If Vic suggests backpedaling, Anaïs doesn't want to change anything. She thinks of a way to bounce back and is reluctant to take the drug Sam gave her. Milan interrupts him without realizing it and offers his help to develop a new recipe based on vegetables with only a little grated truffle. Anaïs validates her idea and launches the preparations.
After the service, Anaïs meets Teyssier in the park to get his opinion on his entry. The latter declares that the recipe was daring unlike the rest of the menu. Reboosted, Anaïs promises him that she has plenty of ideas for the rest.
For their part, Enzo and Vic tell Jude about the service at Double A. Even if the collaboration between Anaïs and her second in command now seems to be working, Vic fears that their relationship will go into a tailspin at any moment.
In the evening, Anaïs meets Milan in the kitchen to convey Teyssier's congratulations on their starter. She decides to officially put her on the map and suggests that they choose a new name together. She adds that she would also like to develop the rest of the menu with him around this starter. Milan amusedly points out her change of heart and agrees to collaborate with her on the condition that she admits that she was wrong to put him aside all this time.
Anaïs then ends up revealing to the young man that she did not want to work with him and that she was doing everything to keep him away because she was afraid that he would make her lose all her means. She also admits that this is the case. Milan comes closer to her and kisses her. They exchange a passionate kiss…
Alice refuses to be put in a box
In the management office, Hortense and Stanislas come to the aid of Alice who wants to stop the printing of her technical sheets. In fact, she realized that she had forgotten a circumflex accent on the E in black forest.
If Stanislas believes that it is not that serious, Alice admits on the contrary that it disturbs her and that she already has difficulty concentrating at the moment because of Gaspard who insinuated that she was autistic. Alice confides that she has already been told this, but more in a mocking tone. However, Gaspard really seemed to worry about her. Hortense reassures Alice by telling her that she is not autistic.
A little later, Hortense goes to see Gaspard in the park with Stanislas and tries to find out why he said such things to Alice. The young man explains that the signs are very clear and that he really thought he would help his teacher, just like when his little brother was diagnosed and he was relieved to be able to put a word on what he had always felt.
After which, Hortense and Stanislas look on the Internet to see if Alice has any characteristic signs of autism. They realize she checks a few boxes. When Alice finally joins them, they suggest that she consult someone who can help her. Touched by their attention, the young woman thanks them. However, she wants this to not change anything between them because she loves being their friend.
Later, Gaspard approaches Alice in a corridor to apologize to her for having destabilized him with his words. However, he thinks it would do her good to put into words what she feels. But Alice says she's doing great and doesn't want to be put in a box or treated differently. Gaspard apologizes for insisting.
Coline continues to lie to her mother
In the park, Coline talks with Carla and Bérénice who are both aware that she is lying to her mother about her studies at the Institute. However, they think she should tell him the truth.
A little later, Coline goes to her mother's farm. She sells vegetables there and also asks her daughter for help to harvest lettuce the next day. So she asks him to take time off work. Coline promises to find a solution.
During chef Armand's class at the First Years, Teyssier shows up without warning to announce that their inaugural pastry class will take place the next morning. He warns that he will not tolerate any lateness or absence.
Very annoyed, Coline confides in Carla and Bérénice. They advise him to skip Teyssier's class to help his mother, ensuring that the director will not even notice his absence because he does not know the First Years. Since Bérénice will be assisting her, she will even be able to give Coline a detailed debrief of the course.
