No RN or related Marseille MP participated yesterday in the two main commemorations in memory of the 1918 Armistice organized yesterday in Marseille. Starting with the official ceremony organized yesterday morning by the regional prefect, Christophe Mirmand, Porte d'Aix, where the message from the Minister of Veterans Affairs was read, the flame of the Unknown Soldier was rekindled and awards were presented – including two Legions of 'Honor – to French soldiers engaged in different operations.
The mayor (DVG) Benoît Payan, the deputies (LFI) Manuel Bompard and Sébastien Delogu, the deputy Laurent Lhardit and the senator Marie-Arlette Carlotti (PS) were notably present. In the afternoon, the President (DVD) of the Department Martine Vassal paid tribute to the soldier and poet Théodore Laporte, who died for France and was buried in the military square of the Saint-Pierre cemetery. At his side, local elected officials such as the mayor (EELV) of the 4th-5th, Didier Jau and José Gonzalez, deputy (RN)… of Allauch.
Information obtained, Olivier Fayssat, deputy (UDR, ciottiste), Gisèle Lelouis, deputy (RN) and Monique Griseti (RN) preferred to attend the ceremonies organized in their respective constituencies. A way, perhaps, to try to fill their respective reputation deficits locally…
A platform to remind people of the urgency of opening a “shooting room” in the city center
Petitions follow one another but, in the heart of Marseille, where drugs are consumed on the sidewalks and doorsteps, nothing changes. In a new column published in the newspaper Liberationlocal associations and elected officials deplore “political inertia and lack of will of public authorities“for the installation of an addiction care center (HSA) and call for”don't wait any longere”. The first assistant (EELV) and project leader Michèle Rubirola indicates that the work “continues at local level“.
But for almost a year, and the sudden veto of the State for a location on Boulevard de la Libération (4th), no new location has been identified. The experimentation period authorized by the Ministry of Health expires in December 2025.
