Djokovic’s absence opened the door to the fifth participation of Andrey Rublev at the 2024 ATP Finals. Without the withdrawal of the former world number one, the 27-year-old from Moscow would hardly have taken his pass to Turin, also because the seasonal results have not always been exceptional. The peak was the victory at the Masters 1000 in Madrid, while the other title came in the 250 tournament in Hong Kong at the beginning of the year.
