“She asked…”: This gesture from Karine Le Marchand for Flavie (L’amour est dans le pré) in the midst of a personal ordeal

In this new edition of Love is in the meadowFlavie touched the hearts of viewers. The 21-year-old young woman, however, went through a complicated shoot, marked by the announcement of her cancer. Production therefore took this upheaval into account, as it explained to Parisian. And if she was able to count on the support of the farmer Valentin, she was also touched by Karine Le Marchand.

Flavie has just completed more than five months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment and recounts what happened in behind the scenes of the filming of Love is in the meadow. “I didn't ask myself the question of leaving or staying, explains the candidate. We always have tough times in life, we have to get over them. Flavie was strong“, first of all confided Valentin – then in a relationship for only a week with Flavie – to the Parisian. The farmer was there for her, just like the star host of M6.

After the terrible news, Karine Le Marchand received Flavie in the offices of her production company Potiche Prod. “We took it as a mid-term review filmed in case I couldn't be there a few months later“, explains the candidate. A particular shoot during which the presenter had a touching attention to the young woman of 21 years. Flavie says: “Karine asked that her personal makeup artist and hairdresser take care of me, rejoices Flavie, very flirtatious. It felt good to be pampered. And that reassured Karine about my state of mind.

Flavie's physique changed by cancer, an upheaval

Especially since as Valentin's suitor tells it, facing her new reflection in the mirror – having her hair shaved – was not an easy step: “The biggest blow was when I shaved my hair, I was tired of seeing it fall, of having it in my hand, Valentin had more trouble at that time and that's normal . Me, I told myself that this would be the only opportunity to shake things up in my life. I even filmed it. (…) The hat, in the summer, it bothered me, it was too hot and the wigs, the same, so I assumed responsibility with short hair.”

Not yet in remission but awaiting results, Flavie has proven that she is strong and has since returned to work.
