And whether your laughing muscles will work tonight when you watch ‘The Smartest Person in the World’! None other than comedians Soundos El Ahmadi and Alex Agnew will serve as the jury tonight. The two knew each other through their participation in the previous season and already turned out to be a top duo!
Ali Axel Agnew
Presenter Erik Van Looy is very happy to welcome them as a jury. Or at least we hope so… He announces Alex Agnew with the wrong name: Ali! And he doesn’t seem to be happy about that.
‘Ali? Why do I say Ali?!’, Erik is shocked. Fortunately, Soundos puts an even more embarrassing twist on it: ‘OMG! You looked at me and you thought of Ali B,” she jokes. Alex Agnew takes it even further!
Worst of all? When Erik called the comedian that same morning, he called him Axel. ‘What a shame, it drives me crazy! They do that to me so often,” Alex admits. ‘Four letters, a different order. Axel is just Alex for people with dyslexia, that’s not a name.’ And then follows a hilarious imitation of the presenter… That promises!
