Without news of the young woman since Saturday November 9, Alice Galmiche's relatives alerted the gendarmerie, who published a call for witnesses Monday November 11 for a worrying disappearance on their social networks. The young woman was at her grandmother's house in Pouilley-les-Vignes, very close to Besançon, on Friday evening. Alice Galmiche has brown, shoulder-length hair. She is 1m68 tall, has blue eyes and can wear glasses with large, round lenses. When she disappeared, she was dressed in a black coat and a yellow scarf.

A witness claims to have seen her on Saturday around noon, at a bus stop in the neighboring town of Auxons and has not given any sign of life since. “She’s been out there for three nights already,” worries his mother, interviewed by 3 Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The latter specifies that her daughter was in a depressed state at the moment. The young woman is a student in . She had returned temporarily to live with her grandmother in Pouilley-les-Vignes.

She tried to contact her family on Saturday

She would have left her grandmother's home without her cell phone, but would have tried to call her relatives with the phone of a jogger she passed on Saturday, to ask that someone come pick her up. “Unfortunately, we only discovered the message in the evening,” regrets her mother, who thinks that the student may have tried to reach her parents' house, in Montarlot-lès-Rioz (Haute-Saône), about twenty kilometers further north.

Dog teams were mobilized to try to find her. A gendarmerie helicopter was also hired to scan the fields and woods around the area of ​​the disappearance. Wanted notices were posted in Besançon.
