François Zimeray and Jessica Finelle, Arthur’s two lawyers, announce “to seize the senior investigating judge of the Paris Judicial Court with a defamation complaint against the deputy Aymeric Caron (LFI)”, because he “accuses Arthur – in the same way as the Crif and other personalities of the Jewish community – to deliberately condone what would constitute, according to him, a “genocide”, that is to say the most serious of crimes”. “These comments constituting the imputation of a specific fact likely to undermine honor and reputation, they fall under the offense of public defamation defined in article 29 of the law of 1881,” details the press release. .
