It is a drama that is still incomprehensible, in the story told over the hours that followed. Sunday November 10, 2024 in the evening, a 58 year old man has been stabbed in the chest in Marcq-en-Barœul (North), while he was out walking a friend's dog. Friend with whom he had spent the afternoon watching the LOSC match, according to Voice of the North. The victim succumbed to his injuries, which were inflicted on him a priori by a total strangerand free of charge.

A jogger, a doctor, would have tried to revive the victim, then the Smur, in vain. A suspect was quickly arrested and taken into custody. According to France Bluethe mayor of Marcq-en-Barœul Bernard Gérard went to the home of the deceased fifty-year-old, to inform those around him of the tragic course of events.
