Wojciech Szczęsny still hasn’t made his debut for FC Barcelona. The Polish goalkeeper has watched all previous matches from the perspective of the substitutes’ bench. This was also the case in Sunday’s (November 10) match against Real Sociedad.
Inaki Pena made several effective interventions, but he had nothing to say about the goal. After Luka Sucic’s header, Sheraldo Becker got the ball, with only the Spanish goalkeeper on his way to the goal.
The home team’s player hit the ball so skillfully that the ball fell into the Barcelona net right next to the post. Pena just knelt down and watched the ball cross the line (you can see a video of the entire action at the end of the article).

It is worth mentioning that several minutes earlier, FC Barcelona players were happy to score a goal. Robert Lewandowski headed the ball into the goal, but VAR showed that the Polish striker was in an offside position, so the goal was disallowed.
When can we expect Szczęsny’s long-awaited debut? It is speculated that this will happen only in January, during the King’s Cup match.
