“I don’t understand why she kept this or that little flowered dress. She clings to everything!”
Courteney Cox largely tasted 90s fashion thanks to Friends. And yet, the former Monica Geller is hardly a fan of the look. To the point where she threw everything away:
“My daughter, Coco, is so angry that I didn't keep any of my 90s clothes.” confides Cox on Bella Freud's Fashion Neurosis podcast. “But I didn't like 90s clothes. In fact, I could have kept all the clothes I wanted from Friends. And I didn’t.”
Inversely, Jennifer Aniston made a raid. According to Courteney Coxthe famous Rachel Green stole a lot of clothes from Friends :
“Jennifer… she's more of the type to still have the same shoes! I'm talking about those platform shoes, the ones with the rope around them. She took a lot of Monica's dresses on the set of the show. Sometimes I see her and I remember that I wore that in Friends… Afterwards, it suits her very well. She has a beautiful figure and she is adorable. But I don't understand why she kept this or that little floral dress from Friends. clings to everything!”
