Alex de Minaurknown as the “Demon”. This is the name – and nickname – of the first opponent of Jannik Sinner at the ATP Finals taking place in Turin. The year that is about to end is perhaps the most prolific of the Australian's career. In July after Wimbledon, which he lost in the quarterfinals, he went up at number 6 ATP. He won two tournaments (Acapulco and Hertogenbosch) and lost the Rotterdam final, with Sinner defeating him seven times out of seven. A year of great substance, with 47 victories and 16 defeats, with over 3 million and 700 thousand euros in prizes won, and unfortunately also a hip problem which prevented him from playing the quarterfinals of Wimbledon and above all the Olympics.
