Saka’s injury deepens Arsenal’s crisis after the draw with Chelsea

“Arsenal suffers a severe blow after Bukayo Saka is injured after a violent intervention by Mark Cucurella.”

Hey Koura: Arsenal suffered a heavy blow with the injury of Bukayo Saka during the match that ended in a 1-1 draw against Chelsea, adding to the list of injuries that the team suffers from.

Saka was subjected to strong interference from defender Mark Cucurella, which led to an injury to his left leg and his exit in pain, which raises the concern of the technical staff led by Mikel Arteta and also the national coach, Lee Karzli.

The injury came at a sensitive time, as the England national team prepares to play European Nations League matches against Greece and Ireland, which are the last two matches for coach Karzli before the leadership is transferred to Thomas Tuchel.

For Arsenal, Saka’s injury is an additional blow in light of the series of injuries suffered by the team, and it comes before facing Nottingham Forest after the international break.

In the match, Gabriel Martinelli was able to open the scoring for Arsenal after a beautiful pass from captain Martin Odegaard.

But Chelsea got back into the game thanks to a wonderful shot from new signing Pedro Neto.

Arsenal almost snatched the victory in the last moments after a pass from William Saliba to Leandro Trossard, but the latter was unable to score.

Arteta is eagerly awaiting the medical evaluation of Saka’s injury, as he hopes that the injury is not serious, especially with the team’s important matches in the English Premier League approaching.
