Paris Saint-Germain is taking advantage of Ligue 1 to recover from its poor European results. The Parisians were once again calm in the championship, where they have still not lost this season. And this by taking care of the offensive efficiency in Angers (2-4), which was lacking against Atlético Madrid on Wednesday (2-1 defeat).
The weakness of the Angevin defense necessarily qualifies the Parisian success of the evening but PSG has already scored 33 goals in 11 days, or three goals per match on average. Compare with the poor record in the Champions League (3 goals in 4 matches).
Enrique changes everything
Coach Luis Enrique did not lie: he presented a largely reworked team but it was enough to panic the White and Black at the Raymond-Kopa stadium.
Established on the right wing, the South Korean Lee Kang-in opened the scoring by taking a low cross from Marco Asensio, once again placed in false 9 (17e ). The ball went in in the extremes despite the attempted rescue on his line from an Angevin defender. Lee doubled the lead by calmly taking another cross behind Asensio (20e). The Spaniard offered himself a hat-trick of assists by then serving Bradley Barcola, intelligently shifted and who only had to strike with force (31e).
The former Lyonnais crushed Angers by heading a brushed cross from Lee, a rarity for him. He is the championship's top scorer with 10 goals. The Parisians then only had to manage and revive players like Randal Kolo Muani and Désiré Doué, who were lacking playing time, in the second half.

Tennis balls on the lawn
After an interruption of a few minutes during the throwing of tennis balls by the Angevin ultras in order to protest against the Professional Football League, the French international was able to show his vivacity. He notably made a good breakthrough but his shot was repelled by Yahia Fofana (75e). And he found the post at the very end of the match. As for Doué, he was once again borrowed, not knowing what to do with his position on the left wing, between aborted dribbles and back passes.
The Angevins delivered a better performance than during the first act and were rewarded with a magnificent volley sent into the top corner by Esteban Lepaul, coming off the bench (90e +1). Then Emmanuel Biumla headed a corner to demonstrate Parisian defensive weakness on a set piece (90e+7, 4-2).
However, PSG can go into the international break with an easy victory which will undoubtedly give them a little confidence. Just a little, because Luis Enrique's men know too well that they are expected especially at European level, and that the crucial trip to Bayern Munich is advancing quickly (November 26).
