‘Four dismal results,’ Redknapp remarked in his immediate analysis for Sky Sports. ‘Watching the second half, and I’ve seen plenty of Manchester City, I must say that was one of the poorest halves of football I’ve ever witnessed from a Pep Guardiola team.’
‘They were utterly woeful; no defence, no fight in individual battles, and hardly any accurate passing to be seen.’
‘In the first half, they were superb—Steph Houghton pointed out at half-time they could have easily been 3-0 up.’
