Kylian Mbappé remained silent on Saturday during Real Madrid-Osasuna (4-0) while Vinicius shone by scoring a hat-trick.

Not selected by Didier Deschamps for the Blues' last two matches in the Nations League, Kylian Mbappé intended to shine with his club on Saturday against Osasuna. But the afternoon did not go as the French striker of Real Madrid hoped. Not very successful in his dribbling, still not visibly fixed in his positioning on the pitch, the former PSG player left the spotlight to Vinicius Junior.

The Brazilian left winger scored a hat-trick (34th, 61st, 69th) while English midfielder Jude Bellingham scored the Madrilenians' second goal, receiving a very long pass from Raul Asencio (42nd). The young Spanish central defender from the reserve team (Castilla) replaced Eder Militao who was taken out on a stretcher (29th).

Militao worried

The Brazilian international appeared to be in serious pain with his right knee. He missed almost all of last season due to a torn cruciate ligament in his left knee. Ten minutes earlier, Real Madrid suffered a first blow, again an injury to one of its Brazilians. Rodrygo, starting with Mbappé and Vinicius in attack, left the Santiago-Bernabeu pitch, replaced by Brahim Diaz in the 20th minute.

Victorious of Osasuna 4-0the team coached by Carlo Ancelotti stops a major hemorrhage. During the last two outings, each time on their lawn, Real Madrid had been corrected, by FC Barcelona (0-4) then AC Milan in the Champions League (1-3). Kylian Mbappé must now wait until November 24, and a trip to Leganes, to recover his health in turn.
