Several departments are facing meteorological vigilance this Saturday, November 9, 2024. The orange level is notably activated.

Haute-Corse under surveillance

Among the sectors cited by Météo France, Haute-Corse, which appears in orange for rain-flood. The alert has been active since 2 p.m. this Saturday. In their bulletin, the forecasters explain that “until the end of the night from Saturday to Sunday, on the eastern coast of Corsica (mainly Upper Corsica), temporarily heavy and stormy rain are expected. Intensities could be around 30 to 50 mm per hour in places, and accumulations could approach 80 to 120 mm in 3 to 6 hours. Over the entire episode, the accumulations risk occasionally reaching 150 mm, or even a little more.”
